Fans of country music, get ready to raise your glass of Tennessee whiskey because Chris Stapleton's "All-American Road Show" is back on the road and will be performing at the Isleta Amphitheater on Thursday, April 27th, 2023. Margo Price and Nikki Lane will be appearing as special guests. Get some tickets and come out to support the multi Grammy winning country singer, who is still technically touring to support his two-part album, From A Room: Volume 1 and 2 event, though he’s released another album! I think it’s all just for fun now.
Chris Stapleton has been honored with several prestigious accolades during his career, including a total of eight Grammy Awards, ten Academy of Country Music Awards, and fourteen Country Music Association Awards. He was also given the Artist-Songwriter of the Decade award by the Academy of Country Music.
Stapleton's musical inspirations range from outlaw country and bluegrass to rock and roll and blues; his first solo album, Traveller, is an old-school country, Southern rock, and bluegrass record, while his second and third, From A Room: Volume 1 and 2, are country, blues, and roots rock records. The new album, Starting Over, debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart in November 2020 and ended the year on many “Best of 2020” lists. Starting over also took home Album of the Year 2021 from both the Country Music Association Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards as well as Best Country Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
Stapleton performed lead in two bands before launching his solo career, including a bluegrass quartet named The Steel Drivers and The Jompson Brothers from 2008 to 2010.
