Powered by Scott-Young’s Monami Entertainment and Live Nation, The Queens of R&B Tour 2024, lands squarely in Concord, California this June before gliding out and across the country to include New York City, Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago, and Atlanta while also making a highly anticipated stop here in Albuquerque, NM's, Isleta Amphitheater on July 3rd 2024. Featuring headline sets from both Xscape, and SWV and special guest appearances from Mya, 702, and Total.
This is the tour that was supposed to happen in 2023, Bravo’s “SWV & Xscape: The Queens of R&B” live action documentary followed the ups and downs of both R&B groups, SWV and Xscape, as they tried to put their differences aside, while dealing with a whole load of other problems. But ultimately... “These ladies have all given their all to R&B music, despite experiencing the ups and downs of life and career, and it is with great pride and excitement that we bring this highly anticipated concert experience to the fans.”
90s R&B and Pop radio stations, Xscape are Kandi Burruss, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, and Tamika Scott. They brought the house down with hits, “Just Kicking It,” “Understanding” and “Who Can I Run To.” in case you missed her, LaTocha Scott, sister of Tamika, has left the group and is now performing solo.
The stunning Sisters With Voices, or SWV, are Cheryl “Coko” Gamble, Tamara “Taj” George, and Leanne “Lelee” Lyons. And they kicked the 90s R&B world to the curb with the hits, “Weak,” “Anything” and “Right Here/Human Nature.”
Grammy-winning Mya has had collaborations with Blackstreet on, ”Take Me There”, Pras's ”Ghetto Superstar”, and the all-time epic Christina Aguilera, Lil Kim, and Pink on ”Lady Marmalade.” she is also the singer on, “My Love is Like... Wo” and “Case of the Ex.”
