Kicking off next Summer with a lengthy 40-date tour (announced so far), watch out for the reunion that rock fans have been craving as Styx, Kevin Cronin, and Don Felder (the former lead guitarist for the Eagles) reunite on stage.
Styx, a band that has endured the test of time, has built a dedicated and loyal fanbase throughout the years. Being one of the few bands in rock that has had top ten hits in three decades, concertgoers will surely find a hit or two that’s instantly recognizable to them once they hear it. Considered a giant in the rock industry, Styx has accurately been leveled many times with the likes of The Beatles, Elton John, and the Beach Boys repeatedly in the past.
Making a name for himself that has lasted since the late ‘70s, Kevin Cronin joins the ‘Brotherhood of Rock’ tour this coming Summer using his own name. Formerly the frontman and songwriter of REO Speedwagon, Cronin has remained influential in the music industry with his large contribution to hit albums like ‘Hi Infidelity’, and popular songs such as ‘Keep on Loving You’ and ‘Can’t Fight This Feeling’. Though not carrying his previous REO Speedwagon brand, you’ll find yourselves in awe once he picks up his Fender Telecaster or Gibson Les Paul.
Rounding out the appearance of these rock legends, expect to see Don Felder rocking it out onstage beside them. Ever since the release of his first solo album in seven years, ‘American Rock ‘N’ Roll (BMG)’, longtime fans have been drawn back in and sold on the creativity of Felder as an artist.
All three bands and artists are proving that they are still in their prime, stating that they are also working on new music that fans can look forward to hearing this 2025. Felder predicts that his album would be out before the tour begins, while Styx and Cronin are also separately working on new records that are taking shape.
