The Reunion

Blues-rock pioneers Alabama Shakes issued their most recent (and arguably best!!) studio album, Sound & Color, in 2015. They also dropped a tenth anniversary deluxe version of their debut mixtape, Boys & Girls, in 2022. Fast forward to 2024 and the Alabama Shakes super talented frontrunner Brittany Howard released her sophomore solo record “What Now.” The album turned so many heads that it snagged a 2025 Grammy Award nomination in the Best Alternative Music Album category. Brittany Howard took the critically acclaimed album on the road with a co-headlining tour with the soulful Michael Kiawanuka. Then, to wrap up the year, she performed a one-off event with her former band at the Bama Theatre in Tuscaloosa, AL. And now, less than 2 months later, the rock hero is back to her roots. Summer 2025 will see Brittany Howard and Alabama Shakes set off on their first official tour since 2017, and the hype is real!!

Headline Tour

The eagerly awaited headline road trip will kick off on the 16th of July in Chicago, and journey across North America, before capping off on the 27th of September in Irving, Texas. Other stops include Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre on the 20th of July, the Greek Theatre in Berkeley on the 14th of August, and Stage AE on the 9th of September. The Alabama natives will be putting on 30 unforgettable concerts this summer from July until September. They will take over top theaters, amphitheaters, fairgrounds, festivals, as well as stadiums alongside extra special guests, including Bahamas, Shannon & The Clams, El Michels Affair, The Budos Band, Sam Evian, Lee Fields, Greyhounds, Y La Bamba, Caleb Elliott, and Alanna Royale, on various dates.

New Music 

“We didn’t want this to entirely be a look back,” Brittany Howard said in a press statement. “We wanted it to be as much about the future as the past. So we have a bunch of new music that will be released soon. We just can’t wait to experience that ‘feeling’ when we start playing those first few notes of ‘Don’t Wanna Fight’ or ‘Gimme All Your Love.’” The reunion of Alabama Shakes has been a decade in the making so you can imagine how popular this show will be!!
